Rescheduling my life

Alright I knew it's been a while since I last blog, but the new blogger outlook seriously get me lost like a rat here.. Or is it I'm too old to adapt to new thing and changes now? :O

Back to my post, I've been living in a mess since I graduated from uni which was almost 1 and a half year ago. Terrible working life in pg for 3 months and yea I've been continuing to rot ever since I resigned. I tend to give myself endless of excuses for slacking and now I realize, the whole year of 2011 gonna be end soon.. I mean REALLY SOON!! And yea if the Maya prophecy about world gonna KO on 2012 is true, then gosh I'm gonna die REALLY REALLY SOON!!

Focusing on my study is on the priority now as I constantly get upset and frustrated with my study progress. I just wish that all these hard works gonna get pay off soon. Also, I wish I get to spend more times with my family as much as I can. Staying far from them really makes me treasure every single moment we could spend together. So.. lets pray and work hard for a better life from now on.. ;)

And I hope all my friends and family can stay healthy and happy.. especially you..

Time is a cruel thief, stolen everything. I really getting emo always when it comes to end of month every month! I hate to feel like I did nothing and it's already one month passed. Anyway it's my birthday again sigh.. and I'm already 25 years old now.. Sob sob..

This year I had a blissful birthday celebration. The boy had plan a special dinner for me. Although it didn't turn out to be as expected, overall the dinner is nice for the food part. It would be nicer if there weren't so many cats and cat shits smell around~ Meow~~~ I truly appreciate his effort to make things a little bit special. Thanks for the arrangement! Simple yet meaningful. Just the way that I want. :)

After the birthday dinner, we move to DPC and meet up with the others. There is another girl having a near birthday with me so we celebrate the birthday together. They get us the cuties cupcake but honestly this thing is too sweet for me. Anyway I feel happy with all these peoples around me and thanks for the birthday present! I'm so blessed seriously..

Update from my daughter

Recently I received the annual progress report from my sponsored daughter in India. In just a blink of eye I had been sponsoring her for a year. Time flies~ I'm glad to know that she is in good health now and she had been attending school. She draw me a flower in the mail and that made my best birthday present for this year.. :)

Volunteering at WorldVision 30 Hours Famine countdown event

Last weekend, I joined a meaningful event as a volunteer. It was my first time working as a volunteer and the experience of meeting with bunch of good hearted people was simply amazing and words are not enough to describe the kind of feeling that you can feel it on the spot. I used to think that I might be one of the oldest volunteer to join the event but I was so wrong. The volunteer age range from 19-40 but everyone just work together and have fun there.

Angry bird - Mascot of the event (which I personally think is kinda stupid -.-)

WorldVision 30 hours famine event is a charity event to raise fund for people in need of food and financial support from those developing countries. The theme for this year is child health crisis which focus on various killing diseases that took away 9 millions children life under the age of 5 per year which is equivalent to one life every 3 seconds. The figure itself is so sad and it is even much more depressing when you realize all those killing diseases are easily prevented such as malaria, diarrhoea, pneumonia and malnutrition. The only cause behind all these disaster is poverty. This year there are 18k participants register for 30 hours famine camp and 9k participants make it at the countdown event.

Fasting for 30 hours is not an easy task and it really requires lotsa determination to do so. Fasting for us end today but to some people they only end fasting at the end of their life. We ♥ Hong Kong : Arriving night

♥ Kowloon.. Kowloon Hong Kong.. We like Hong Kong.. ♥

Hey guys! I went Hong Kong in mid of June and it was really a fun and happy trip except for the weather!! X( Alright I shall skip all those lengthy description of how we get to HK and bla bla bla.. So here is it Hong Kong!! Finally I manage to step on the land of HK after years watching HK drama.. >.< hiong kong ngor lai la~

HK!! Nathan road.. The place we pou everyday..

It was nearly 830pm when we finally settle down in the hotel so it's time to hunt for food!! We just simply drop by a shop opposite of our hotel as we are reaaaaaaal hungry! As the land of HK is very limited, so most of the shops in HK are really small. They only have table big enough for 4 people so we need to sit separately. I'm not good in describing food. The only comment I can give about HK food is they really like very dry food. The dry wantan mee is really really really drrrrrryy! We hop into a famous dessert chain shop named 许留山 for some dessert after the meal and to be honest I don really enjoy the dessert.

We stay just one street away from 庙街 so we straight away walk there after the dessert. My purpose there is to hunt for more food but I was kinda disappointed when what I get there is something very similar to petaling street. There are these stalls selling pirated handbag, ah beng tshirts, china made souvenirs, iPhone skins and more iPhone skins. Where are all those foods I read from internet?!! @.@ It was only at the last day I realized we only walked through half of 庙街，with the another half selling food that I was looking for! D:

After we walked around 庙街 for a while, we were exhausted and our tummy is ready for more food. Since we were at 庙街 we decided to try some local style 大排檔. We ordered some dishes with the recommended local beer San Miguel? O.o Overall the dishes taste nice or I feel it so just because it's HK? The supper sums up our first arriving night at HK and we head back to hotel for rest and get ourselves prepare for Ocean Park the next day! :D

✿ Cameron heat escape trip!! ~ Day 2 ✿

Woo!! I shall continue with my Cameron trip day 2 before I totally forget about it. Despite drinking some alcohol on the first night, most of us waking up very early which I didn't expect to be so. That's when only I was told that after I went to bed last night, YeeLin get really drunk and threw up nearby the sofa. Pity Toy that clean up all his mess and sleep for only few hours. Credits to him!! *clap hands* After cleaning up the house a little bit and packing, it's time to check out the apartment and proceed with our 2nd day planning!

However.. The original plan kinda spoil. Everything is not going well as planned. The restaurant the we intend to have lunch is closed so we simply took our lunch at some random mamak store. And the weather is not on our side too!! T______T It had been raining heavily after we had our lunch. The next plan to Sungai Palas tea house totally ruined by the weather and the congested traffic along the road. We have no choice but to go back to the town area after we stuck there and not moving at all for... 10 minutes? ArrrgggHHHH!!! I'm so much disappointed and we nearly decided to get down from Cameron after dangling around with no purpose. Luckily Ban voice up they wanted to buy some corn from Kea Farm so we head back there and the rest of us hide in the car while waiting the little couple to get the corn.

Luckily the rain turn smaller after they did their shopping. I really wanted to go the tea house so I suggested we drop by a self-picked strawberry farm to pass time while waiting for the rain to stop. Darn it I wonder is it all the self-picked strawberry farm in Cameron is just some trick to attract tourist attention as most of them don't have much strawberries on trees!! :(( Finally.. the rain stop and we decided to try our luck again to the famous tea house!

I forgot what I was laughing at.. @.@

Tea house tea house!! I'm coming for you! :D We are lucky for the 2nd attempt as no more congested traffic along the small narrow road to the destination. It was actually a really small and narrow road where most of the time there is only one car allowed to pass the road and you need very masterfull driving skill to drive on such narrow and curving road. But all these hard works are worthful!! The scenery at the tea house is so nice that photo alone is not enough to describe the amazingness of nature.. ♥♥

After fulfilling our mission at the tea house, we leave Cameron with full satisfaction and head down to Ipoh for our dinner. Ipoh.. as usual and for sure we seek for Ipoh famous 芽菜雞! 安記芽菜雞 set on target!

Too exhausted until we terbalik the camera?! @.@

Alright I knew my expression definitely show how much I hate bean sprout! Yukss~

Ok that's the end of our short and happy Cameron trip. It's a fun one for sure and I'm looking forward for our next gathering guys! Don't make it too far from now! Miss you guys! ♥

✿ Cameron heat escape trip!! ~ Day 1 ✿

The weather had been hot and really hot recently that I can significantly feel the effect of ☀ global warming ☀. And since it's been some times me and my buddies had our trip to somewhere else we decided to plan a easy and simple trip to Cameron on 14-15 May. Surprisingly the response to this planning is so good until we need to upgrade from 4 rooms apartment to 5 rooms apartment at very last minute.

We depart at around 930am from PJ to get YeeLin from Setapak before we meet up with the others at Simpang Pulai toll at 11am as planned. But yea that's perfect ideal plan which normally does not work!! I get lost in Setapak area before I reach his place and the others, *out of sudden being so puncture* reach at 11am, being so excited about the trip and decided to dump us. Leaving us to drive up the hill alone. T.T But it's ok we are excited still.

After 1+ hour, finally we arrive at the apartment, being welcomed with Power Rangers style. (-.-) It's nearly 2pm when we finally settle down everything so we rush to a restaurant in town for our lunch. The lunch is so normal I don think it worth elaborate any further. And then.. it start to rain.. T.T We don have enough ☂☂☂ so we need to hide and spend some times in some random shops while waiting for the rain to stop. After some times the rain had become smaller so we move on to Kea Farm to get our ingredients for home made steamboat dinner.

Kea Farm! The place where U ~~buy more and save more~~

Well don ever believe on the slogan buy more and save more. At the end U will just end up buy more and can't finish em all and waste more. But the vege here are seriously damn cheap. We bought some vege, corns, mushroom and together with the meat we brought it should be sufficient for us to have a satisfying dinner.

After some market shopping, we walk on foot to the nearby Raaju Strawberry Farm to plug some strawberries and taste some fresh strawberry products. Errr well maybe it's not the right season we went, there weren't much strawberries on the trees and it was quite disappointed actually.. :( Anyway I think the strawberry deserts they sold were quite nice or maybe it's just because we had it at such cold weather.

It's really nothing much interesting there and since it's nearly 5pm we head back to our apartment and prepare the food for our yummy yum yum home made steamboat! :D Everyone was working so hard and cooperate to prepare the perfect steamboat dinner. *touched* Although we came across lotsa obstacles we manage to produce a table full of steamboat ingredients!! But when we have a look at the time it's like WTF 9pm already?!! :O We actually took 4 hours to prepare, how efficient we are.. -.-

有血有汗!!

The food were too tasty that's why we were too busy eating, chating and chilling. It feels so nice to gather a bunch of good friends and enjoy our own prepared steamboat in such cold weather. In fact, when friends are around you don't really have to talk much or do much. Under such circumstances, of course we need to feature alcohol! XD (I'm not alcoholic, REALLY!!)

Okay the night ends with us cleaning the mess after dinner, have some alcohol drinks, and cleaning the mess after someone throw up! >.< The photo taken after that is not so appropriate to show here so I guess that sum up our first day in Cameron! Fuhhh... finally ~

I made my mum cry last week

I'm bad I knew

I can't undo what I had done

Although I don't have any intention to hurt my mum

But the feelings sucks

I will never forget how my mum cried that day

But it never feels the same again

I've been home since Monday

And I don't really like the reason I'm home this round

Last Sunday my dad felt from motorbike

He broke his shoulder bone and went through operation to fix the bone

After the operation he still need to wear bandage to fix the hand gesture in order not to worsen the wound

And he couldn't do any hardwork with his hand for at least a month

So I went home to take care of him

And helping my mum on some daily household

I'm so shameful to say that after 25 years

This is the first time I'm mopping the house floor

How sinful I am

Since my dad can't really use a lot strength with his hand

He is somehow unwillingly forced to retire from his bus driver job

Well what's worrying me is how he spend his time in the future

The accident didn't just affect his physically but more to mentally

I can notice how he's been thinking everyday and worrying what he can do

Nothing much I can do but just to talk as much as possible to him and try to make him think optimistically

I pray hard he will recover soon

Wisdom gone down

Last Friday, I was having roast duck for my lunch

Immediately after my lunch, I feel some pain at the right hand side of my mouth

Both upper and lower parts

I thought it was due to the hard chewing duck that cause my teeth and gum pain

So I din really pay much attention on it

HOWEVER!!!

My mouth turn out to be so much more painful when I woke up on Saturday

It's making me difficult to eat, chew and even talk!!

Even drinking water is so suffering T.T

By that time I only realize the severity of the pain

So.... I went for a dental check up at UM dentistry

They took a X-ray of my teeth and......

Found out I have 4 grown size wisdom teeth!

I used to think I got 2 wisdom teeth as the lower 2 are totally embedded inside the gum

One of the upper is growing senget towards outside

And this is the one that causing so much pain to me

Dentist told me I must remove all 4 teeth in order to ease my pain

But I will have to wait 2-3 months if I want to get it done in UM

SERIOUSLY?!!! 2-3 MONTHS?!!

~~Are you kidding me?!!!~~! No they are not kidding!

After very serious consideration and few days surveying on the net

I make up my mind to extract the teeth in Mak dental clinic at SS2

Surprisingly the dentist told me I only need to remove one tooth! ^^

It will be done in 1 min and he even ask me to consider it for few days first before I'm mentally ready for the extraction

Due to the past days suffering of the pain

I quickly decide and ask him to remove it immediately

He took a ~~10cm~~ 20cm injection needle to give me anaesthesia

Gosh that is so ****ing pain!

It took the medicine around 5 mins to take effect so I have to wait outside until it's my turn again

And by that time I couldn't hide my fear but I'm trembling out of my control while waiting

My heart beats super fast and my tears are filling up my eyes quickly

Soon enough 5 mins passed

The moment is here finally

I got back to the chair again and while I was still worrying

The dentist plug my teeth off in 1 min like he promised without any pain!

He even said plug teeth is like plug grass -.-

So I get the payment done and went home missing a tooth

Well it's overall a very scary but important experience

Never underestimate the wisdom teeth!

I got my one wisdom done and 3 to go

And I will definitely look for this same dentist again for my future extraction :D

OK it was the 5th year we celebrate valentine's day

Original we don't have any celebration plan

As most of the fine restaurant will be queueing like crazy

And the price for food is BLOODY expensive

But somehow I think I should prepare a gift for him

So I get this Mr Messenger to deliver him an envelope

Well basically the bear is a present from him years ago

I just feel that it's cuter for him to hold the envelope instead of just the envelope alone

Because I don't have any sense of art to make the envelope looks nicer! T.T

As for him

He get me some macaroons from Levain

That's very unexpected and sweet ☺

But the macaroons does not taste well!!

This is so gonna be my first and last time eating macaroons

Anyhow we decided to have a simple celebration

So I choose Kitchen Creatures at Centre Point

And proven that my choice is a brilliant one

No queue and food serve in within half hour

Cheap food with no service tax as non essential features had removed to keep the price low

Here's a compilation of the food we had that night

Overall the food was nice and the prices are reasonably low as compared to other almost similar restaurants

Very high possibilities that we will visit this restaurant in near future

The whole outing won't even exist if we weren't tweeting to each other

It was just like one normal day while I was tweeting

And simply saying to 2 of my secondary school mates that

We shall yam cha someday since we were all in KL

Then somehow more people joining in

And I just realised we were all actually staying so close yet we never met!

Well at the end of the discussion

We agree to make it on Sunday noon due to

Ling Xin need to work half day on Saturday

And Lee Yen is going back to AS on Monday

So 4 of us including me and Huei Pin is going to meet each other after all these while!!

Basically I'm so nervous, excited and NERVOUS about this outing

It's been soooooooo many years since we last meet each other

Oh and by the time I saw them showing up one after another

It brings back many memories that we once share 10 years ago

10 YEARS!!! OMG I'm so old now! T.T

We had lunch and chit chatting about the past

Funny and bitter stuff we had as a scout

It's almost reaching the end of CNY now ☹

Which mean everything is back to normal

And no more excuses for me to ~~slacking~~ ☹☹☹

Well as my previous blog post mentioned some sad news

I receive one great happy news in this CNY

My daughter from India send me a mail ✉!!

Finally after 5 months of sponsoring her

The first mail came with just a simple season's greeting card

It seems that she had planted a sapling under my name in India

And in this mail she had made an imprint of a leaf for me

Ooww.. Isn't this cute? ☺

外婆卻為我們捎來了悲痛的消息

病情反覆折騰了一個月

她卻始終挨不到農曆新年

原本打算浩浩蕩蕩的慶祝新年

卻變成提早回家奔喪

兩年前婆婆的離開

是我初次體會到親人離去的傷悲

但我卻沒意料到

那只是開始而已

接踵而來的喪事

是在考驗我的承受能力

還是意味著這都是成長必須付出的代價?

一直都很想去實現的一個行動
今天終於達成了

24歲的今天
我註冊成為世界宣明會的贊助者
正式的通過每個月50零吉的資助
去助養一個有需要的孩童

RM50對於我們來說
不多也不少
但是對於他們來說
已經足夠為他們貧苦的生活
帶來巨大的改變

如果能力有限的話
還可以註冊為義工
參與宣明會的其他活動
盡一點綿力改變他們不幸的遭遇

工作的第二個星期
終於拿到了我的電腦
超大的 15.4吋.. =.=
重到我的肩膀每天都"側側"痛

笨蛋的IT沒有SET我進ADMIN ACCOUNT
害我的電腦只是空殼一個
什麼都不能INSTALL
終於在今天搞定了
明天我要INSTALL有的沒的SOFTWARE了 :D

每天我去上班都好像很多餘的
除了看別人做工
跟進跟出的
我還真的是什麼也沒有做到
我甚至懷疑那些在做工的工人
心裡一定在想我到底是來幹嘛的
一想到這裡
心裡就很難受

聽到SENIOR討論著工作的事情
我也不懂應該給意見還是沉默就好
給意見又怕講錯東西
沉默又好像不關注工作的事
進退兩難
一想到這裡
心裡又更難受了

有時候真的沒事做悶到一種完全放空的程度
一直在想這種生活真的適合我嗎?
或許... 還是...
想想下
心裡好像被巨石壓著
就快窒息了

還是懷念沒有責任的日子
可惜我們並沒有時光機

Yes.. Finally I reported to my 1st official job after graduation
Originally I was supposed to report myself in Shah Alam office
But somehow the day before I report my boss ask me to outstation back in Penang
Which make me travel down to KL and back to PG again.. ><

Working.. is a tiring job..
Each day I need to travel 1 hour to my working place
1st day driving from PG->Kulim I nearly gone mad
2nd day driving I get numb already
3rd day driving I start to entertain myself with the view along the road
Somehow I discover the view are quite nice along BKE especially when driving early in the morning

Well.. I haven get my laptop yet..
So basically can't start to do any work
These few days just study about piping parts
And finally today visited my working site
Because site is very dangerous place
So I need to wear these when I work in site

Safety shoe to protect my very beautiful foot

Safety helmet to protect my very big head

Ok that's all..

這次回家有很多感觸

當年搬來這裡時

我只有兩歲

家裡住了7個人

三間房每天都吵吵鬧鬧

今年

我已經24歲

家裡的成員有加有減

婆婆離開了

哥哥和姊姊也有自己的家庭

我多了一個嫂嫂和姊夫

還有兩個為愛而生的小姪女

不過家裡剩下的只住了兩個人

22年過去

改變的很多不變的也很多

每一次回家看到爸爸媽媽

都明顯發現他們變老了

從他們照顧我們

變成了我們照顧他們

奈何我們卻無法去改變這樣的改變

我的科系僅僅就只有那可憐的28人

我還可以對我的大學生活有甚麼期待?

開始覺得每一件事情都順眼了

其實我的大學還蠻美麗的啦

不帥的系友也好像還可以啦

少少的28人反而讓我們更了解彼此

不過我的大學遺憾仍然是遺憾

不喜歡離別

Not a good day

Today I was chatting with my sis as usual

But she delivered 2 sad news to me

First my Dad get rob by a group of young Malay guys yesterday

Luckily no big loss cause my Dad manage to scream for help and they run away

But he get hurt on his legs when they push him down to the floor

And I don't know how serious is the wound

I had talk to him through phone and I really hope he is okay

Screw those stupid robbers!!

Pray hard they get caught soon and get their lesson!!

Second, my grandma had been certified that she suffered from 1st phase throat cancer

Doctor said that operation might be high risk at this age

And she will not be able to talk after operation

They still kept this as a secret to her

Worried that she can't face the truth

I don't know what should I do and how should I feel

As I was consoling a friend yesterday cause her grandpa had cancer

How tragedy same thing happen on me too

I hope things doesn't turn out bad so soon

Please spare her more time

We met a lot of peoples in our life

But sadly not all of them will stay forever with us

When we were born, we enter into a lot of peoples' life

They cheer for us and they sacrifice for us without demanding any return

But as time goes by

Some of them extended their life circle with their own family

Some of them might just disappear without any notice

No matter how it changed

They are always those peoples who are truly care for us

When we grow up

We met a lot of peoples in our primary and secondary school

But no matter what happen

We still get separated when we further our studies

Or even when we work

And there are always some peoples

That will gather together without any reasons

We share our laughter and sadness

Knowing we can talk whatever with no worries

When we work

We met with another group of peoples

Peoples that taught us a lot in work

Peoples that share their experience with us

Peoples that are nice but normally won't stay together for long

Work environment change and colleagues change

But in deep I truly hope the friendship never change

When we were in colleges or university

We spend our 4 years with a group of peoples that gather from all around

We study together

Some even stay together in the same house

But in the end

Not much of us will be connected after we graduate

And eventually

We met people that we love

People we wish to spend our future life with

Although there are always obstacles

We will still feel glad that they walked into our life

And make our life colorful and joyful

I wish I have a place where I can gather all of these people together

Places where no one leave

Sadly such place will never exist

Peoples walk in and walk out of our life

Peoples change and things will never stay the same

I'm glad I've made footprint in life of a lot peoples

Or maybe to some I've left some shit over there

I wish that to all of the peoples that had ever appear in my life

Sherlock Holmes

Sherlock Holmes is a great movie for all detective fans

It has great plot

fantastic actors

but somehow to me the screen is always in dark tone

really need to open ur eyes wide and concentrate in watching

other than that everything is almost perfect to me

To fully enjoy this movie

I think you should possess very good English listening skill

as they are talking in super fast speed with super British slang

subtitle maybe helpful but sometimes it's a bit lagging behind

cos they are really talking in super super fast speed!

Also the movie become more understandable if you have basic knowledge in Chemistry

Overall my rating for this movie is 8.5/10

I officially ended my semester holiday

a day before this

I received a news from my friend

one of my friend passed away in an accident

I'm not really know her

just met her few times and knew her name

I think this is the worst xmas present her family and friends ever get

hope they will be strong and get through this tragedy as soon as possible

life is really unpredictable

we will never foresee what's going on next

better treasure what we have now before they were all gone

不斷的揮霍錢

看了一部蠻有意思的戲

不過看了心情很低落

很多戲都喜歡把外星人形容到很殘忍,很暴力

不過這部戲

卻把他們打造得很脆弱,很無助

在他們落難地球的28年

受盡人類的無理對待

卻一點反抗的能力也沒有

被當成囚犯

戲裡的主角和外星人真的很可憐

在發生事情的時候

人類醜惡的個性展露無疑

懈下人類的面孔

我們真實的臉是否比起外星人的外貌還要可怕?

貪婪的人類

邪惡的念頭

才是最可怕的東西

today i have my first lectures on semiconducter

some information my lecturer reveal to us shock me

the water that we need to produce 1 centimeter cube of wafer

can be use to sustain the usage of water for 20000 people

the electricity used to produce 1 centimeter cube of wafer

can be use to sustain the usage of electricity for 7500 people

and some other chemical air emissions from the fabrication of wafer

most importantly

to produce 1 pc

we create 63kg of waste materials

which 20kg of that is hazadous waste

so think about it

we invent technologies to make our life easy and convenient

but our technologies are destroying our one home

浪花永遠在衝擊礁石

雖然那衝擊力好像微不足道

雖然並不能夠馬上侵蝕礁石

不過積年累月的浪花

始終有一天把礁石擊碎成沙石

礁石表面好像很堅硬

可是還是抵擋不了浪花蝕虐

長年累月和不曾間斷的浪花

瓦解了礁石表面的堅強

礁石卸下了防備開始崩潰

所以

我門要做個浪花

不斷的努力不放棄

終有一天會擊敗礁石

千萬別做礁石

只擁有表面的堅強

不堪一擊

but the question is

actually we shouldn't waste so much energy
especially air-con
in public place we should reduce the usage of air-cond
i personally don like the grand usage or air-cond
human being are too used to having air-cond already
until some claim they can't stay at a place cos no air-cond
so
don say that u are an earth lover
if u cant do it
